Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi

Arrival and welcome at Hanoi Airport from an evening flight to Vietnam. Transfer to check in at your hotel.

Day 2: City tour in Hanoi (B)

This morning we will visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed every Monday and Friday), a traditional stilt house, the revered One-Pillar Pagoda and the thousand-year-old Temple of Literature also known the First University in Vietnam and the Ethnology Museum (where you can learn about the 54 ethnic groups within Vietnam-closed every Monday). Then, explore Hoan Kiem Lake vicinity, Hanoi’s Old Quarter by cyclo (in 60 minutes). This evening is free time for shopping and self explore at “night market” which is held in every SAT & SUN night in Hang Hang, Hang Dao Old streets.

Remark: Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum closes from 08 September to 08 November for annual maintenance.

Day 3: Hanoi-Halong (B,L,D)

Depart for Halong Bay and pass through the large ice fields of the Red River Delta. Arrive in Halong and check in the junk.

Overnight on cruise.

Day 4: Halong- Hanoi- Hue (B)

Breakfast at hotel, after that transfer to the pier and embark a boat for a five hour cruise to discover Halong Bay. After the cruise, transfer to Hanoi Airport for flight to Hue. On the way you will visit But Thap Pagoda. You will be met at Hue Airport and transferred to your hotel.

Day 5: Hue – Danang (B)

Have breakfast in hotel then start to visit Hue imperial capital, short visit to Imperial Citadel and Dong Ba market. Then take a dragon boat upstream Perfume river with a visit Thein Mu pagoda, Minh Mang’s king tomb. Transfer to Danang city.

Day 6: Danang_Ba Na- Danang (B)

Pick up at Danang airport and transfer to Bana hill Station (40km from Danang). You have a chance to ride on a modern system of cable cars helps you get a bird’s-eye view, very miraculous and attractive while enjoying a feeling of flying in the blue sky amidst the clouds and wind. You will visit some old French villas en route, as well as the suspension bridge, Nui Chua & the Mountain Peak (at the height of 1,487m). We will then enjoy lunch whilst taking in the spectacular views.
In the afternoon, visit Vong Nguyet villa where we will visit the wine cellar, Linh Ung Pagoda, Sakyamuni Buddha’s monument and Ba Na by night. Go down to Danang by cable car.
The Bana mountainous resort, which stands at the altitude of 1,487m above sea-level, has an average annual temperature that varies between 17 and 20°C (62.6 - 68°F). Each of the four seasons appears within a single day in Ba Na: spring in the morning, summer at noon, autumn in the afternoon and winter at night. One particular characteristic is that the clouds are at the mid-height of the mountain, so the peaks are always clear. Ba Na also possesses very beautiful forests with green pine hills that why it is home to a farmer French resort built in the early 1920s, which once boasted 200 villas, restaurants, and clubs. Its temperate climate, unspoiled forest, and spectacular views over the East Sea and the Lao mountain range made Ba Na a popular place to retreat for the French and wealthy Vietnamese.

Day 7: Danang – Hoi An (B,L)

In the morning, visit the pagoda with the biggest statue of Goddess of Mercy in Son Tra Peninsular. Then transfer to Hoi An. Take a boat trip to a local house to enjoy the lunch with the host. In the afternoon, followed a walking tour to visit Hoi An ancient town with Japanese bridge, Phuc Kien pagoda, Garden Ancient Houses and walking around for shopping at Old street area.Dinner on your own.

Day 8: Hoi An-Danang-Saigon (B)

Transfer to Hue Airport for the morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Welcome at the airport and transfer to the city. Pay visits to some historic landmarks including the Old Saigon Post Office, Notre-Dame Cathedral, the War Remnants Museum and Dong Khoi Street. Check in at the hotel. Then visit the ethnic Chinese district of Cho Lon, especially Binh Tay Market and Thein Hau Pagoda.Meals on your own.

Day 9: Saigon- Cu Chi- Saigon (B)

In the morning, departs to Cu Chi where you will visit the amazing tunnel network built by Vietnamese fighters during the Vietnam War with America. Return to Ho Chin Minh city at the end of this morning. Spend the balance of day free at leisure.Meals on your own.
